Housed in newly renovated 求电脑免费的加速器, the Franklin Residential College or the “FRC” is UGA’s first residential community. Unique to the FRC, a staff family resides in Rutherford who regularly host students in their home for intellectual, social, and cultural events. Under the guidance of our Faculty Director, the FRC is a student-governed residence, modeled after residential colleges found at many Ivy League institutions to give the feel of a small college within a large university. Over nearly 20 years in existence, the FRC has become home to thousands of students, accepting a mix of first-year through senior undergraduates into the program each year. Events planned for 2024-20 include a Service Learning trip to Sapelo Island over fall break, as well as a series of academic and social events on campus and around Athens. Through workshops with UGA faculty, field trips to local businesses and charities, and cultural events, FRC residents organize and participate in a range of opportunities beyond the classroom.

Gabriel Smallwood is a junior majoring in History and minoring in Political Science on the Pre-Law track. This will be his third year in the FRC, and he has been actively involved in our community during his time at UGA.
Grace Lane is a senior majoring in economics with a minor in English. 2024-21 will be her third year with FRC, and she previously served as our Service Chair and a Director's Assistant. Her hometown is Roswell, GA.
